We had a great week here at Metal Designz! Our first project was published in the Step by Step Wire Jewelry Magazine -Oct 2009. It is a GORGEOUS Sterling Silver and Niobium Olivia Byzantine Bracelet - Complimented by a lovely box clasp. Unfortunately, the box clasps are in in very short supply. We thought we had a shipment coming, but there was confusion to which glass was used, so now they are quickly scrambling to see if they can find more!

We will be traveling next weekend to try to find some alternative clasps until we can get more (If we can get more)

The kits to go with this Article can be found in the Project kit section. You can chose the Sterling Silver kit with a Titanium lobster clasp, or you can choose to do it in Bright aluminum if you want to cut the cost!

We also added a bunch of new findings, including a new gunmetal safety clasp that is really neat! We will be adding a bunch of the in between sizes in Bright Aluminum, Copper, and Stainless over the next few weeks... They will go in order on the site... so if I can't get the photos up at the same time, you can tell where they fall in the sizing spectrum!

We have been incredibly busy this week -- many new bead store customers, as well as many new customers finding us from the article, so wait times were a little long... We will use the weekend to get caught up as always :) Remember to check out our facebook group!
